Sand Springs plans $1 million community plaza

SAND SPRINGS - The Sand Springs City Council last week approved moving forward with a plan to invest around $1 million into a new community plaza. The Council approved a proposal to demolish the old Central ninth- grade gym at Broadway and Main Streets to make way for the plaza.

Pirates place eighth at regionals

CUSHING — The Mannford Pirates traveled to Bu alo Rock Golf Course in Cushing on Wednesday, May 1, to compete in the OSSAA Class 4A boys Regional Golf Tournament. As a team the pirates placed eighth with a score of 362.
